The Card Is In The Mail.....Product Review

Baby's Noah's Ark T-Shirt
Baby's Noah's Ark T-Shirt
We recently decided to have a party for the kids.  Actually, we thought everyone could use a party and somehow, when it's a kids party, people seem to have their guards down a little more.  Something about those kids......Our next decision was to send out invitations.  I adore stationery.  To me, there is something more personalized about receiving a letter in the {physical} mailbox versus my {electronic} mailbox.  Call me old-fashioned.

We chose Amy Adele for our invitations.  I adore the artwork on their stationery.  It's light-hearted.  That's the word that comes to mind when I see it.  The rest is really a true story: I was looking at their invitations when I received an email from one of their reps, checking in on me because I am an affiliate of theirs.  Seriously, that email came the very same day I was looking at the invitations on their website.  I let him know that I happen to be on their website looking at invitations for our party and was given the opportunity to review them here.

Amy Adele creates invitations, thank you notes, birth announcements, labels & stickers, calling cards, personalized stationery on 100% post consumer recycled paper.   Amy Adele also designs girls' and boys' T-shirts and baby one-piece outfits that are made in the USA.

The process for ordering invitations {or any of their stationery} is really too simple.  It's so easy that I actually made screenshots for you.

Step One: Create an account or sign in to your account.

Step Two: Choose your stationery.  We chose invitations, then girls.

Step 3: Choose which item you want.

Step 4: Choose the quantity you need.  Then click "Personalize."

Step 5:  {5 steps within this one}This is the screen where the magic happens.  I put the steps below the picture so you could see what I am talking about.
  1. Here, you choose the font.  There are 20 to choose from.
  2. Choose the color.  There are 14 to choose from.  **Next to the font and color choices is a link {for each} that shows you the font style and color.  You can only choose one font and color for your particular stationery.
  3. Then there are three columns.  The first one is where you adjust the text size from XS, S, M, L, and XL.
  4. You can enter your text in the second column. Depending on which font you choose, you may have to adjust the size.
  5. The last column aligns your text Center, Left or Right.
**Each time a change is made the screen refreshes to update the change.  It does not refresh when you go from one line to the next.

Step 6:  Click on "Preview."  If, for some reason, you are not done, you can click on "Save For Later."  This allows you to save what you have done and finish it at a later time.  If you are happy with your choices, click on "Add to Cart" to proceed to checkout.

Step 7: Checkout.  There is a box to include any special instructions.  That's it!

Our cards arrived within a few days of ordering them.  The cards included a Thank you card signed "Amy."  It was handwritten.  That is the first time that I have received a handwritten Thank you card with an order that I have placedI thought that was quite touching.

I hope this review makes it easier for you to choose your stationery or gift.  Be sure to visit their website and check out their 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt.  While you are there, you can enjoy 35% Off Communion & Easter Items.

  3. Those did come out nice, and it is neat that a handwritten thank you note came along with them. :)

  4. Hi Rosey,
The handwritten Thank You note is what sealed the deal for me. That was the bonus touch. The cards themselves really did turn out beautifully. We got lots of compliments on them. Thank you for stopping by. It's always great to have you back.
