I attempted to update the RSS through Feedburner and received an error message. As much as I tried to search for a solution, I could not find one. Then I received another error message - that my file size was too large. I searched for a solution to that and found one. Finally! I was able to move on. I was happy that I was finally able to input information in Feedburner and not receive an error message. The next day, I checked my blog to see the .net {instead of .blogspot.com} and my readers were almost all gone! I had gone from over 200 subscribers to 20. I'm not even sure what to say after that. I do not know how to get the reader count back up. The fact that I lost 90% of my readers baffles me and I do not know how to fix it. This is one of those occasions where I should have subscribed to my own blog to know what happened. Needless to say, I am a subscriber now. This is all part of the maintenance that I recently read about.
If anyone can help me, please leave me a comment or use the contact form and let me know.

Yikes, Karina! I'm so sorry that happened! I'm terrified of making changes, because I just know I'll delete, like, everything and have to start over. So, I just deal with the things about my blog I'd like to change. :( Hope you get it figured out, friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Meredith,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comment. I actually persisted and figured out what happened LAST NIGHT, as a matter of fact. I now have my readers (or at least the count) back. I appreciate you stopping by.
Sincerely,
Karina
